Job summary

University of Chicago Medicine is seeking an Imaging Team Leader (Nuclear Medicine) in the Radiology Department to supervise day-to-day operations across imaging facilities in DCAM, CCD, Comer, and Mitchell Hospitals. The role requires NMTCB registration, 3+ years of NM experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current NMTCB registry is required.
• Minimum of three years experience as a technologist in Nuclear Medicine.
• CPR training required; BLS training recommended.
• Effective communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Nuclear Medicine operations across imaging facilities as assigned.
• Review exams for quality and proper labeling before Radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage order fulfillment within Nuclear Medicine.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing floors, radiologists and ICL to prioritize daily workload.
• Lead, mentor and serve as a resource for staff technologists.
