Job summary

University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor to lead the nuclear medicine team in a complex acute care setting. Qualifications

  • Current California CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist).
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in training and guiding employees on radiology modality techniques.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines in a complex environment.
  • Applied background in nuclear medicine and associated modalities; knowledge of principles and concepts; skill operating imaging equipment.
  • Ability to assist with personnel management issues, such as performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff, patients and other medical personnel.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel; knowledge of electronic medical/health records.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise technologists and support staff; organize workflow and shift coverage.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards; follow radiation safety guidelines.
  • Manage scheduling, documentation, and data entry in RIS/PACS and EMR systems.
  • Participate in quality control, incident reporting, and performance improvement activities.
  • Train staff, residents, and students; foster ongoing professional development.
