Job summary

The University of Chicago Medicine Radiology - MRI team is seeking an Imaging Team Leader to oversee MRI operations across DCAM, CCD, Comer, and Mitchell Hospitals in the greater Chicagoland area. This is a 100% onsite role working with the Imaging Center Manager to ensure smooth daily workflows.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT MRI certification, Illinois licensure, at least 3 years of MRI experience, and CPR/BLS training.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT registry with MRI specialization.
• State licensure in Illinois (IEMA) required.
• Minimum of three years MRI technologist experience.
• CPR and BLS training recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Imaging Center Manager in daily MRI operations across facilities.
• Review exams for quality, protocol and labeling before radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage ordering for the MRI unit.
• Lead and mentor staff technologists and students as required.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety at all times.
