Job summary

The Fayette Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Nuclear Med Tech to join Piedmont's Travel Agency at various locations across Georgia, including Atlanta. The position offers the flexibility of 12-13 week commitments with a 36-hour work week, competitive pay and benefits, and career advancement opportunities. Qualifications include being a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, having 2 years of work experience, and possessing CNMT or NMTCB certification along with BLS certification.

• CNMT or NMTCB registered.
• BLS Certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures.
• Adhere to A.L.A.R.A. programs and perform quality control procedures.
• Be part of an internal agency pool to fill critical staffing needs.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines. Part of a Piedmont internal agency pool that is used to fill critical and/or urgent staffing needs through designated assignments at Piedmont hospitals ("Assignment").

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of work experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Either CNMT or NMTCB registered. Required
• BLS Certified Required
