Job summary

Piedmont’s First Call Staffing Solutions is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to contribute to patient-centered care across multiple Piedmont hospitals. You will perform Nuclear Medicine procedures with adherence to protocols and ALARA guidelines, supporting overall imaging services.

The role requires a JRCNMT or NMTCB accredited program graduate, 2 years of experience, CNMT/NMTCB registration, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program (JRCNMT) or NMTCB certification.
• 2 years of work experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• CNMT or NMTCB registration.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols and ALARA guidelines.
• Performs quality control procedures per manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Work within Piedmont’s internal staffing pool to fill critical and urgent assignments at Piedmont hospitals.

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all protocols, policies, and procedures and adhering to ALARA programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines. This role is part of a Piedmont internal agency pool used to fill critical and/or urgent staffing needs through designated assignments at Piedmont hospitals ("Assignment").

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited program by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Required
• Work Experience: 2 years of work experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Required
• Licenses and Certifications: Either CNMT or NMTCB registered. Required
• BLS Certification: Required
