Shields Health Care's Brockton Hospital is seeking a part-time Nuclear Med/PET Technologist to join a fast-paced imaging team. This Saturday-only schedule runs 6:00a-4:30p or 7:00a-5:30p, totaling 10 hours weekly, with benefits potential.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification, a Massachusetts state license, CPR, and at least one year of nuclear medicine experience. You will operate PET equipment, document exams, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality imaging.

• Must possess a state license for the state(s) in which he/she is employed to work.
• Must be certified in CPR.
• Must be registered by the ARRT and/or NMTCB.
• A minimum of one-year prior nuclear medicine experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Follow Shields Health Care Group policies, procedures, and protocols for patient safety.
• Operate PET equipment to produce images and measure radiotracer concentrations.
• Complete all forms pertaining to the patient exam and record data accurately.
• Provide films and forward PET data to Radiologist; re-film cases as time allows.
• Assist clerical staff and maintain equipment and rooms.

## Nuclear Med/PET TechnologistApply: Brockton, MA: Part time: Posted Today: R-101022**Job Summary:**In keeping with Shields Health Care commitment to excellence, the PET technologist will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment.**Job Description:****This is a 10-hour weekly position at Signature - Brockton Hospital on Saturdays:****6:00a-4:30p OR 7:00a-5:30p****What you will do:*** Follow all Shields Health Care Group policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.* Follow rules and regulations established by the NRC, state regulatory agencies, and JCAHO.* Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.* Operate PET equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of Radioactive Isotopes in specific body areas and body products.* Performs all hot lab responsibilities.* Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.* Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.* Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.* Complete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam.* Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.* Provide and issue films when appropriate.* Forward PET related data to Radiologist upon completion of exam.* Refilm cases as time allows* Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.* Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.**Required Qualifications****What you need:*** Must possess a state license for the state(s) in which he/she is employed to work* Must be certified in CPR* Must be registered by the ARRT and/or NMTCB.* A minimum of one-year prior nuclear medicine experience is required. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Must be proficient in starting IVs.* Must be able to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties. Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.**Additional Job Description:**Pay range for this position is $32 - $60/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.It is not intended that this Job Description include all details of the work functions of this position.
