You will manage mechanical design, analysis, and qualification of primary boundary components, using Ansys and other FEA tools, and collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure design integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Engineering Mechanics, or Aerospace engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in component structural analysis or thermo-hydraulics.
• Strong capability in Finite Element Analysis (FEA); Ansys experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design, analysis, and qualification activities for repair and modification of primary pressure boundary components.
• Drive subsystem integration with component, system, and manufacturing leaders; resolve issues quickly and rigorously.
• Co-develop executable schedules with project managers and technical leads to balance scope, risk, and timelines.
• Embed compliance with NRC/DOE/ASME codes, standards, and criteria in designs.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with national laboratories, sub-contractors, suppliers, fabricators, and customers.
• Support refueling outages remotely and on-site, including time-sensitive shifts when needed.
