Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of experience in Component structural analysis or Thermo Hydraulics.
• NRC/DOE/ASME codes and standards knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and analyses for repair, modification and qualification of components within the primary pressure boundary of Westinghouse nuclear plants.
• Use analysis tools such as finite element simulations (e.g., Ansys) and internal analysis codes to qualify component design.
• Collaborate with subsystem leads and project managers to develop schedules and resolve technical risks.
• Provide technical guidance and cooperate with partners including national labs and suppliers.
• Support plant refueling outages including 12-hour shifts and overnight work when needed.
