Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to perform design drawings and calculations and apply the ASME Code to primary equipment components. You will author deviation and non-conformance reports to support fabricators of the equipment.

You will report to the Manager of Nuclear Component Engineering at the Cranberry Township, PA headquarters and work in a Hybrid capacity. The role includes creating design drawings and specifications, reviewing welds and materials,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Create design drawings and specifications to support component fabrication.
• Support Component Fabricators with Fab Follow work such as Fab drawing, Material, and Weld document reviews. As well as supporting non-conformance and deviation reports.
• Support larger generic projects that are developing the industry guidance and requirements for safe long-term operation of nuclear power plant primary equipment components.
