Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Mechanical Sales Engineer to identify, develop, and expand business by delivering technical service solutions for mechanical maintenance in the nuclear and energy space.

You will work with utility customers, engineering teams, and field personnel to translate customer needs into detailed proposals, scopes of work, and pricing packages, while traveling to sites and supporting outages as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–5+ years in technical sales, application engineering, or mechanical field services.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems in power generation or heavy industry.
• Ability to read P&IDs, drawings, and equipment layouts.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and cost estimates.
• Travel up to 50% and willingness to outage work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with utility customers and partners.
• Identify new opportunities within accounts and in new territories.
• Prepare technical proposals, scopes of work, estimates, and quotations.
• Deliver technical presentations to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support outage planning, scheduling, and field service execution.
