Job summary

The Nuclear Company is a fast-growing AI-driven startup shaping the nuclear and energy sector. We seek a Mechanical Sales Engineer to identify, develop, and expand business opportunities by delivering technical service solutions across maintenance, outage support, rotating equipment, and skilled labor services.

You will work with utilities and power-generation customers, serving as a trusted advisor to improve equipment reliability and asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5+ years in technical sales, application engineering, or mechanical field services.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems in power generation or heavy industry.
• Ability to read P&IDs, drawings, and specifications; develop estimates and scopes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with utility customers, maintenance groups, and industry partners.
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and cultivate new relationships in assigned territories.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts with proactive relationship management.
• Support contract negotiations ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
