Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• A minimum of 1 year of engineering experience or an MS degree.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for mechanical design in nuclear plants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Involved in nuclear power plant systems design and preparation or review of modification packages.
• Develop functional mechanical drawings and drawings for plant systems.
• Perform engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation of plant systems.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment.
• Study and evaluate options for modifications to operating plants.
