Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical concepts and support design of SSCs for nuclear products with focus on safety.
• Identify requirements, interfaces, design criteria, and applicable codes/standards.
• Plan and perform analyses to verify SSCs meet design specs and requirements.
• Perform hand calculations and use analytical tools for structural/thermal/hydraulic analyses.
• Create and maintain CAD-based reactor SSC models and coordinate cross-team activities.
• Develop design documentation and V&V plans following procedures.
