Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is required.
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in nuclear reactor core components and related systems.
• Working knowledge of ASME Code, Section III and VIII.
• SolidWorks 3D modeling experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• General knowledge of project engineering activities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work in teams.
• U.S. citizenship required; DOE/DOD clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform detail component and system design engineering work, including drawings and calculations.
• Design components with assembly, testing and inspection in mind.
• Implement design control and configuration control concepts.
• Implement design for manufacturing and system operations.
• Learn new procedures, processes and tools while maintaining production stages.
• Specify procurement requirements for mechanical components or system operability.
