Job summary

Southern Nuclear is seeking a Maintenance and Technical Training Manager to oversee the Maintenance, Engineering, Chemistry and Radiation Protection training programs at Plant Hatch in Baxley, GA.

The role requires six years of commercial power plant experience, including at least three years in a nuclear environment, plus knowledge of SAT processes and nuclear training practices. You will lead the site’s Training Leads to ensure accreditation and alignment with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of commercial power plant experience, at least three years nuclear.
• Experience with nuclear training programs and SAT processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the conduct of all initial and continuing Maintenance, Engineering, Chemistry and Radiation Protection training programs.
• Ensure training program durations align with industry best practices.
• Streamline training program qualification structures.
• Lead the site’s Training Leads to close gaps to excellence.
• Maintain accreditation of training programs.
• Fill a designated position in the Emergency Response Organization.
