Job summary

Holtec International is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to lead and coordinate departmental activities, develop schedules, load resources, and evaluate work performance. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant operations in a high‑stakes nuclear environment.

Responsibilities include representing the department in priority setting, assisting in training and budgeting, and collaborating with multi‑discipline teams to reduce backlogs.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical degree; may be credited for up to 4 years of experience.
• 6 years commercial or military nuclear work experience; 2 years supervisory/management experience.
• Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations.
• Desired: SRO or certification on BWR or PWR.

Responsibilities

• Represent department at Work Management “T” meetings and coordinate resource priorities.
• Assist in developing the departmental training plan and manage the department budget.
• Meet with multi-discipline teams to develop schedules and reduce backlogs; support other departments.
• Ensure compliance with procedures; communicate technical information clearly; assess conditions and act under pressure.
• Perform First Line Supervisor duties and address performance gaps with management.
• Respond to Incident forms and participate in MARC meetings and the Emergency Response Organization.
