Holtec in Covert, MI seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to coordinate work scopes, schedules, and resources while overseeing execution and evaluations. The role requires leadership and strong technical understanding of nuclear operations.

The incumbent will collaborate with management to set priorities, develop training plans, and manage department budgeting, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical degree; may be credited for up to 4 years of experience or equivalent work experience
• 6 years commercial or military nuclear work experience; 2 years supervisory/management experience
• Desirable: SRO or certification on BWR or PWR

Responsibilities

• Represent department at Work Management “T” meetings and work with the management team to set priorities and allocate resources
• Assist in developing the departmental training plan and manage the department budget
• Meet with multi-discipline teams to develop schedules to reduce backlogs and support other departments; provide feedback to improve processes
• Observe and ensure compliance with procedures and policies; communicate technical information clearly; assess conditions and decide under pressure
• Perform First Line Supervisor duties and supervise personnel, address performance gaps, and drive to operational excellence
• Respond to Incident forms and attend MARC meetings; participate in the shared resources program; serve in the Emergency Response Organization

Career Opportunities: Maintenance Coordinator (1617)

The Maintenance Coordinator coordinates departmental activities including work scope evaluations, development of schedules, resource loading, execution of work activities and subsequent evaluations.

Location : Covert, MI

Responsibilities :

• Represent department at Work Management “T” meetings. Work effectively with the management team setting priorities, allocating resources, and driving to operational excellence.
• Assist in developing the departmental training plan. Assist in the development and management of department budget.
• Meet with multi-discipline teams to develop schedules to reduce backlogs & support other departments as required. Provide feedback to improve work processes.
• Observe and ensure compliance with procedures and policies. Communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing. Assess conditions and make decisions under pressure and time constraints.
• Perform First Line Supervisor duties. Perform field observations of personnel to reinforce standards and expectations and identify gaps in performance. Work with management to identify and address performance deficiencies. Recommend and implement actions to improve gaps to operational excellence.
• Respond to Incident forms and attend MARC meetings as required. Participate in the shared resources program. Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.

Requirements :
