Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Supervisor, Nuclear Maintenance to lead mechanical and electrical maintenance teams at our nuclear generation facilities. You will oversee preventive, corrective, online, and outage work, ensuring safe, high-quality execution and adherence to procedures, schedules, and equipment reliability.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Work Control, Planning and Training to remove barriers, develop a capable workforce, coach performance, and reinforce

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 4 years related work experience.
• At least 1 year nuclear experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nuclear mechanical/electrical maintenance personnel performing preventive, corrective, online, and outage maintenance.
• Assign work to qualified personnel and ensure maintenance activities are performed safely, correctly, and in accordance with procedures.
• Monitor work progress, resolve execution barriers, and support schedule adherence, quality work completion, and equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Work Control, Planning, Technical Support, and other stakeholders to support work execution and emergent issue resolution.
• Review completed work for procedural compliance, QA requirements, post-maintenance testing, modification impacts, and return-to-service readiness.
