CorSource is seeking a Licensing Engineer to support Engineering Projects II or III at a nuclear facility in Richland, WA. This role focuses on providing regulatory and technical support for licensing initiatives, interfacing with engineering teams, regulators, and vendors.

The position is a 12-month contract with a 4x10 schedule, no remote work, per diem eligible, and US citizenship is required. You will apply environmental and licensing laws, conduct regulatory reviews, and help ensure

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university and 3 years of engineering experience in a technical environment, at least 2 of which must be in a DOE or NRC-regulated nuclear environment.
• PE license with 7 years of engineering experience in a technical environment, at least 2 of which must be in a DOE or NRC-regulated nuclear environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Aufgaben

• Provide consultation to ES&D management to ensure nuclear safety, licensing, and regulatory issues are identified, addressed, and resolved.
• Provide strategic guidance to management on matters affecting regulatory and environmental project performance.
• Represent the organization with regulators, industry groups, workshops, and conferences.
• Understand Environmental Review needs, including field and onsite visits as needed.
• Collaborate with licensing and environmental experts to resolve licensing/environmental process issues.
• Keep management apprised of licensing and environmental policies, rules, and standards.
