ACS Professional Staffing is seeking an on-site Licensing Engineer Consultant in Richland, WA to support regulatory and technical efforts for nuclear plant initiatives and aging management programs. The role requires deep nuclear regulatory knowledge, strong engineering background, and experience with licensing actions, renewals, and complex technical communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 12 years of engineering experience in a technical environment, including DOE or NRC-regulated nuclear environment OR PE license with 12 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Experience preparing, submitting, and implementing license amendments or relief requests.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements and licensing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in aging management programs and license renewals.
• Ability to collaborate across Engineering, Licensing, and Project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory and technical support for major station initiatives and long-term nuclear plant operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Licensing to resolve regulatory issues.
• Counsel management on nuclear safety, licensing, aging management, and license renewal.
• Support license amendment requests, relief requests, and other regulatory licensing actions.
• Provide guidance on aging management programs and regulatory expectations.
