Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Mid-Level Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join the Nuclear Design Group in King of Prussia, PA. You will design and deliver I&C systems for nuclear power plants, including PLCs, DCS, and human-machine interfaces, and mentor junior engineers.

This role supports multi-disciplinary teams, develops precise engineering deliverables, and provides field assistance. Domestic travel up to 10% may be required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in design engineering of I&C systems.
• Experience with BWR/PWR instrumentation and controls.
• Experience designing plant I&C documents and data sheets.
• US citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Develop precise engineering deliverables: drawings, calculations, analyses.
• Create engineering documents meeting client and regulatory standards.
• Stay updated on codes, safety culture, and advanced design techniques.
• Deliver high-quality solutions aligned with QA programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects.
• Provide field support and on-site guidance with client personnel
