Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group.

This role offers opportunities for advancement from mid-level to principal positions, mentoring others, and leading projects across a nationwide list of sites. Responsibilities include developing engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry codes and client standards, and providing field support and on-site guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of instrumentation and control design experience; nuclear is preferred.
• Experience with power plant I&C systems and controls design for BWR/PWR is desirable.
• Experience developing system requirements, procurement specs, and design descriptions.
• US citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering deliverables: drawings, calculations, analyses that meet codes and client expectations.
• Create and maintain engineering documents meeting client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on industry codes, safety culture, and advanced design techniques.
• Deliver high-quality engineering solutions aligned with QA programs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Collaborate across disciplines to produce integrated designs.
• Provide field support, conduct plant walkdowns and ensure compliance.
