Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Mid-Level Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. The role spans multi-disciplinary teams and involves upgrades and modifications to nuclear power plants, with opportunities to mentor others and advance within the I&C path.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in an engineering field, 3+ years in I&C design for nuclear facilities, and is a US citizen. Travel ~10% and collaboration across departments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and 3+ years designing instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with I&C design for nuclear power plants (BWR/PWR) and related controls.
• Ability to prepare and review design drawings and instrument data sheets.
• US Citizenship required due to Federal contract requirements.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering deliverables: drawings, calculations, and analyses.
• Prepare and review engineering documents to meet client and regulatory standards.
• Mentor less experienced I&C design engineers.
• Provide field support and on-site assessments at plants.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated designs.
