Arizona Public Service (APS) is seeking a reliable Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Technician for Palo Verde operations. You will calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain plant instrumentation across process systems, supporting safe and efficient performance.

The role requires experience in I&C, nuclear plant exposure, and working with Ovation, Foxboro Spec 200, and Rockwell PLCs. Overtime during outages is expected with growth and training opportunities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of working experience in Instrumentation and Control field, one of which should be related technical training, or successful completion of the PVNGS I+C Apprentice Program.
• Overtime and shift work may be required.
• Meets or exceeds minimum education and experience per PVNGS Procedure 01DP-0EM08, Appendix A.
• One (1) year nuclear power plant experience (not required at hire; GPQ must be met).

Mansioni

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and configure instrumentation including sensors, valves, and field devices.
• Calibrate loop controllers (Foxboro and Fisher Wizards).
• Troubleshoot control systems (Foxboro Spec 200, Ovation, Rockwell PLCs).
• Read technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and maintenance activities.
• Assist with system upgrades and commissioning.
