Arizona Public Service Company seeks an Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Technician to support operation and maintenance of critical plant systems at Palo Verde. You will calibrate and troubleshoot instrumentation using Ovation, Foxboro Spec 200, and Rockwell PLCs for safe, efficient performance.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of I&C experience or PVNGS apprentice training, and willingness to work shifts and overtime, including planned outages in April and

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in instrumentation and control, including related technical training or completion of PVNGS I+C Apprentice Program.
• One year nuclear power plant experience; GPQ may satisfy depending on qualification period.

Mansioni

• Install, calibrate, and configure instrumentation including flow, level, pressure, and temperature sensors and control valves.
• Calibrate loop controllers (Foxboro and Fisher Wizards).
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems including Foxboro Spec 200, Ovation, and Rockwell PLCs.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Perform loop checks and instrument diagnostics.
• Maintain documentation of repairs, calibrations, and maintenance activities.
