GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas LLC is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineering leader to oversee BWRX-300 instrumentation applications. You will mentor teams, coordinate cross-disciplinary engineering work, and drive design, testing, and commissioning across lifecycle phases.

The role emphasizes technical oversight, safety compliance, proactive scope management, and collaboration with Controls, DCS, and other engineering functions at the Wilmington, NC headquarters.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 4-year technical degree in Electrical, Electronics, Nuclear or equivalent.
• 8 years’ overall or mixed experience in heavy industrial or nuclear instrumentation applications, control and monitoring system design, DCS, networking, and data communications architecture.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate matrixed cross-disciplinary engineering teams to assess work products and support requests.
• Lead preparation of work plans, schedules, cost estimates, and risk scorecards.
• Mentor engineers and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical oversight from design release to manufacturing or supplier.
• Manage interfaces with Controls, Monitoring Engineering, DCS, and other domains.
