Job summary

NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC in Palo, IA, seeks a Nuclear Maintenance Leader - I&C to oversee the restart of the Duane Arnold Energy Center.

You will lead the I&C team, mentor staff, and restore and modernize instrumentation and control systems for safe, reliable restart and long‑term operation.

Qualifications

• Nuclear or fossil plant maintenance experience.
• 5+ years in maintenance or operations.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Strong safety and procedure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and oversees maintenance procedures, methods and programs
• Coordinates maintenance activities among plant and fleet departments
• Establishes and enforces safety expectations related to maintenance and compliance
• Oversees daily employee activities, training, and performance management
• Makes routine supervisory decisions and informs management of progress
• Maintains program compliance with plant, fleet and industry requirements
