Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources seeks a Nuclear Maintenance Leader to guide the Mechanical team in restarting the Duane Arnold Energy Center, supervising maintenance programs and equipment modernization for a safe restart and long-term operation.

The role oversees diagnostics, repairs, calibration and predictive maintenance to ensure continuous plant availability and regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on safety and leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED and 5+ years experience in maintenance, operations or engineering at nuclear/fossil plants.
• Preferred degrees include Associate's or Bachelor's (Engineering or technical field).
• Nuclear experience is highly valued with 5+ years in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees maintenance procedures, methods and programs.
• Coordinates maintenance activities across plant and fleet departments.
