NextEra Energy is seeking a Nuclear Maintenance Section Supervisor for Electrical to lead the team restarting the Duane Arnold Energy Center. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and reliability of electrical systems from 120 VAC/VDC to 161 kV, including switchgear, transformers, motors and drives, DC/UPS, grounding, and relaying.

You will mentor staff, manage diagnostics, repairs, calibration, and predictive/preventive maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations and long‑term plant

Formación

• High School Grad / GED required.
• 5+ years of maintenance/engineering experience at a nuclear or fossil generating station: 5+ years.

Responsabilidades

• Develops, implements and oversees maintenance procedures, methods and programs.
• Coordinates maintenance activities among plant and fleet departments.
• Establishes and enforces expectations related to safety, procedure compliance, corrective actions and appropriate work behaviors.
• Performs job site observations to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Conducts daily briefings of work status.
• Oversees daily employee activities, training, and performance management.
• Makes routine supervisory decisions.
• Informs management of plant issues and status of objectives.
• Maintains program compliance with plant, fleet and industry requirements.
• Creates and achieves group budget.
• Meets or exceeds site‑specific ANSI standard requirements.
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
