Job summary

NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls engineer to support the restart and long-term operation of the Duane Arnold Energy Center. You will tackle complex technical challenges, drive system modernization, and ensure regulatory compliance across instrumentation and control platforms.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Nuclear experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Works independently to perform engineering tasks with little or no precedence.
• Provides technical consultation to management.
• Applies nuclear industry standards and regulations to solve new problems and address situations.
• Manages project teams toward solutions using leadership prowess, problem solving, and conflict resolution techniques.
• Represents supervisor interests and serves in a backup capacity when necessary.
• Serves as technical liaison within and outside business unit.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
