ENERCON Services, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Mid-Level Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join its Nuclear Design Group.

You will work on multi-discipline teams upgrading nuclear plants, focusing on digital systems, sensors, and control architectures, with opportunities to mentor others and advance within the organization. The role requires a bachelor's in engineering and at least 3 years in I&C design for nuclear facilities, with travel ~10%.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer, Nuclear Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems design; nuclear power preferred
• Experience with I&C design for BWR or PWR units (turbine, reactor protection, plant process computers, HSI)
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract Requirements
• Approximate travel of 10% as needed

Responsabilidades

• Develop Engineering Deliverables: precise drawings, calculations, and analyses that meet codes and client expectations
• Develop engineering documents that meet and exceed client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements
• Stay current with industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques
• Provide Field Support: on-site plant walkdowns and ensure structures, systems, and components meet engineering standards
• Collaborate across disciplines to create integrated designs for multiple projects
• Build strong client relations through clear communication and professional engagement
