Job summary

ENERCON seeks a Mid-Level Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join its Nuclear Design Group in a multi-location role. You will design, document, and review I&C systems for nuclear plants, mentor junior engineers, and support field activities.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years in I&C design, and US citizenship. Travel ~10% across listed U.S. sites; positions may be remote in some states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer, Nuclear engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of I&C design experience, preferably in nuclear power.
• Experience designing I&C systems for BWR or PWR units.
• Experience preparing/reviewing drawings and instrument data sheets; software/cyber security docs.
• Experience creating system requirements, procurement specs, design narratives, test plans, and traceability matrices.
• Experience in power generation or nuclear/government DOE projects.
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• US Citizenship required.
• Travel ~10% as needed.
