Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current Federal/OSHA requirements.
• Certification as Safety Professional or EMT is preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, review, updating, and communication of the SSSP to all stakeholders including subcontractors.
• Collaborate with craft daily to promote buy-in of the safety program.
• Exercise Stop Work Responsibility to ensure adherence to policies and plans.
• Plan and problem-solve with operations based on leading indicator trends and upcoming work.
• Assist with maintaining project files in OSHA/MSHA compliance and incident investigations.
