Job summary

GE Vernova in Wilmington, NC is seeking Nuclear FEP engineers for a 2-year rotational program across outage teams to build leadership and technical skills. You will train with industry experts, perform on-site reactor services, and learn safety-first practices in line with GE standards.

The program includes hands-on and classroom training at facilities in Wilmington and San Jose, with relocation eligibility and a pathway to Outage Services engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Relocation to Wilmington, NC is required.
• Ability to travel up to 70% to domestic plant sites.
• Ability to work 12 hours/day, shifts, and 7 days/week when needed for project delivery.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is required.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in a 2-year rotational program to participate on a variety of outage teams and enhance core leadership and technical skills.
• Complete curriculum including virtual, classroom and hands-on training at the GVH Services Training Facilities in Wilmington, NC and San Jose, CA.
• Perform on-site reactor services of systems and equipment during plant outages.
• Maintain strong safety mindset to ensure work meets GE safety standards.
• Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.
• Participate in development training and networking with business leadership and other development program members.
