You will collaborate with reactor component experts and senior engineers to analyze fatigue mechanisms and translate findings into practical recommendations.

This hybrid role reports to the Manager, Fatigue Aging Management and is based at Westinghouse Headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and a strong foundation in mechanics of materials

Responsibilities

• Analyze fatigue mechanisms and aging phenomena in reactor components and translate findings into practical recommendations
• Understand design, construction, operation, and decommissioning phases of nuclear power plants and how fatigue affects each stage
• Troubleshoot critical issues that affect construction quality and operational performance
• Interface with Westinghouse customers, building professional relationships and delivering clear technical communication
• Grow understanding of U.S. and international nuclear markets, standards, and regulatory expectations
