You will use ANSYS and internal codes, collaborate with subsystem leads, and develop schedules with project managers while addressing technical risks and adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• At least 3 years in component structural analysis or thermo hydraulics.
• Hybrid work schedule; ability to support outages when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and analyses for repair, modification and qualification of components within the primary pressure boundary.
• Use analysis tools such as finite element simulations (Ansys) to qualify component designs.
• Collaborate with subsystem leads to integrate subsystems and resolve design issues.
• Develop project schedules with project managers and subsystem/component leads.
• Identify technical risks and drive resolutions.
• Support plant refueling outages including 12-hour shift work and overnight work when required.
