Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory's MFC Maintenance Department seeks a leader to direct maintenance across nuclear, radiological and non-nuclear facilities. You will guide a 150-person team, drive improvements, and ensure safety and high-quality results on a 4x10 schedule with Fridays off.

Responsibilities include implementing a predictive maintenance program, managing budgets, and coordinating with unions while aligning with INL/MFC mission and objectives. Requires DOE experience and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education/experience per DOE 426 with 4+ years in maintenance.
• 8–10+ years in maintenance with 2 years of leadership experience.
• Experience managing a maintenance org under DOE O331.C.
• Experience recruiting, developing and managing personnel.
• Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems; codes and predictive/ preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for maintenance activities across multiple facilities.
• Lead and develop a 150-person maintenance team spanning foreman, staff and crafts.
• Drive continuous improvement and human performance tools across maintenance work.
• Lead implementation of Predictive Maintenance per Reliability Engineering lead.
• Develop and execute a human capital plan and optimize resources for quality output.
• Build multi-disciplinary teams aligned with INL/MFC mission and goals.
• Influence INL maintenance programs via Senior Maintenance Managers Committee.
• Develop relationships with union reps and participate in collective bargaining as scheduled.
• Oversee updates to work control documents and Asset Suite upgrade.
• Review division maintenance activities in IRPT and ensure scope/resources are adequate.
• Manage the maintenance budget.
