Job summary
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking Facilities Electrical Engineers to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of industrial monitoring equipment at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF). You will work as part of a multi‑discipline team to meet technical requirements and oversee equipment performance.
Preferred candidates have Rockwell automation and PLC experience, with strong networking skills and a background in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical, engineering or science field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 1+ year, or current intermediate reactor training/ RPCO engineer.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering evaluations and analyses for assigned tasks and make engineering decisions.
- Support maintenance, troubleshooting and development of equipment at NRF and related facilities.
- Provide technical oversight of assigned systems and monitor equipment performance for improvements.
