Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions seeks an experienced Design Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate nuclear engineering teams across EPC and design-build projects. You will manage project scope, budget, and schedule while balancing client expectations and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Travel up to 25% may be required to support projects in TN/KS/IL. This role emphasizes technical leadership, engineering delivery, and pursuit support within a leading nuclear EPC group, backed by Kiewit’s safety

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field.
PE license is highly desirable.
Strong communication and leadership skills are required.
Ability to manage multi-discipline engineering teams and projects.

Responsibilities

Overall management of the project engineering and design team.
Develop and execute the project execution plan (quality, deliverables, schedule, budget).
Monitor progress and report to senior management with regular updates.
Coordinate with clients to align design with objectives and expectations.
Lead the engineering portion of project pursuit with scope, schedule and cost estimates.
