Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Planning Manager to lead planning and scheduling across nuclear EPC projects. The role establishes standards, drives execution readiness, and supports predictable delivery for DOE and commercial work.

You will partner with Area Managers and Project Managers to ensure consistency, governance, and performance, while mentoring planning staff and driving continuous improvement in tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project controls, or related field.
• Strong leadership and people-development abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites for extended periods.
• Experience supporting large-scale EPC project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing planning and scheduling teams.
• Advanced knowledge of integrated EPC project execution (engineering, procurement, construction, startup).
• Lead planning activities, readiness reviews, and schedule governance.
• Monitor schedule performance and communicate progress, risks, and forecasts to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Develop and present schedule performance metrics and reports.
