Job summary

Entergy is seeking a engineering student or early-career professional to support Reactor Engineering and related departments in day-to-day tasks at our New Orleans site.

The role involves troubleshooting, data analysis, and preparing technical documents while coordinating multiple assignments and meeting deadlines. On-shift support during power maneuvers may be required, in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad or master’s degree in Nuclear, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (on 4.0 scale).
• Rising juniors and seniors in relevant engineering programs.
• Some work experience is beneficial but not required.
• Must meet access authorization and fitness for duty requirements of a nuclear power station.

Responsibilities

• Supports Reactor Engineering, Design Engineering, Systems & Components or Engineering Plant Support with day-to-day tasks.
• Conducts troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Prepares documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and interoffice correspondence.
• Performs detailed follow-ups and manages multiple assignments to meet deadlines.
• Proactively forwards issues to managers/supervisors and supports on-shift reactor engineering during power maneuvers.
