Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Summer 2027 Nuclear Engineering Student Intern in St. Francisville, LA, to support reactor engineering, design engineering, systems & components, or engineering plant support with day-to-day tasks.

Candidates must be pursuing an undergrad or master's degree in Nuclear, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 2.8. Strong MS Office proficiency, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a team setting are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad or master's degree in Nuclear, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Currently looking for rising juniors and seniors in these majors.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Supports Reactor Engineering, Design Engineering, Systems & Components or Engineering Plant Support with day-to-day tasks.
• Prepares documents, spreadsheets, presentations and interoffice correspondence.
• Conducts follow-ups in a detailed fashion and meets deadlines.
• Handles multiple assignments and prioritizes effectively.
• Proactively escalates work issues to managers/supervisors.
• Works in a collaborative team environment.
