Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Student, Intern to support Reactor Engineering, Design Engineering, Systems & Components, or Engineering Plant Support in Killona, LA. You will participate in day-to-day activities, perform data analysis, assist with walk-downs, and prepare engineering documents.

Assignments are task-based, with emphasis on troubleshooting, reporting, and coordinating with managers. You will develop strong MS Office skills, learn Nuclear plant operations, and adapt to deadlines while meeting

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program in Nuclear, Electrical, and/or Mechanical Engineering for the duration of the internship.
• Sophomore or beyond at time of hire; rising juniors/seniors preferred.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 (4.0 scale), official transcript required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots issues and conducts data analysis.
• Prepares documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and interoffice correspondence.
• Follows up on tasks with attention to detail and within deadlines.
• Manages multiple assignments and communicates issues to managers.
• Supports Reactor Engineering on-shift during power maneuvers.
