Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Student, Intern to support the engineering department at a nuclear site on a mostly on-site basis. The role involves assisting with day-to-day activities, walk-downs, document preparation, data analysis and collaboration with Reactor/Design Engineering teams.

The intern must be actively enrolled in an engineering degree program (Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil) with a minimum GPA of 2.8 and sophomores or higher.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be actively enrolled and pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Civil Engineering.
• At minimum, must be sophomore or beyond at time of hire.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 (4.0 scale) verified via official transcript.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day activities within the engineering group.
• Support walk-downs, document preparation, data analysis and related tasks.
• Collaborate with Reactor Engineering and Design Engineering teams on assignments.
