Job summary

Entergy in New Orleans seeks an engineer/technical specialist to provide technical support for plant systems and daily operations. You will assist engineering, operations, and maintenance with performance analyses, troubleshooting, and program improvement initiatives.

Minimum requirements include a B.S. in Engineering and 0–5 years of nuclear power design/operations experience depending on level; strong communication and PC skills are essential. SRO or PE licensure is desirable.

Qualifications

• Good communication and PC skills.
• Experience with engineering software and data analysis is a plus.
• Professional licensure or SRO license is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical information on program performance and compliance status to support site Engineering, Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Identifies potential problems via condition-based monitoring and PM optimization feedback.
• Develops and coordinates projects, corrective actions, and improvement programs for equipment and regulatory issues.
• Supports outage engineering, troubleshooting, and lessons learned across fleet.
