Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, Ohio is seeking a Nuclear Electrical Instructor to train the next generation of nuclear professionals. You will deliver expert instruction and hands-on training in nuclear electrical systems within a safety-focused environment.

Required: High School Diploma or GED with 6 years instructional or relevant department experience; strong written and verbal communication; leadership abilities. Commercial or Navy nuclear experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6 years instructional or applicable department experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with commercial nuclear or Navy nuclear experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training program requirements including scheduling and committee meetings.
• Develop meeting agendas, gather and present supporting training data.
• Prepare and maintain training materials: Lesson Plans, JPMs, Lab Guides, Workbooks, and seminars.
• Maintain training program documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in internal and external assessments to benchmark best practices.
