Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Perry, Ohio seeks a Nuclear Electrical Instructor to lead hands-on training and classroom instruction for aspiring nuclear professionals. The role focuses on safety, technical excellence, and lifelong learning while shaping the next generation of industry experts.

You will develop lesson plans, validate JPMs, maintain training documentation, and coordinate program reviews to ensure compliance with nuclear training requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6 years instructional or applicable department experience.
• Strong work ethic focused on timely completion of assigned work, procedure compliance, and leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial nuclear or Navy nuclear experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training program requirements, including scheduling meetings and developing agendas.
• Gather and present supporting training data for program reviews and track action items.
• Identify training program problems to management for resolution and develop minutes.
• Prepare and maintain Nuclear Training Materials (lesson plans, JPM, guides, seminars) and supporting documentation.
• Participate in internal/external assessments to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
