Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 6 years of design engineering in power generation or nuclear; at least 2 years as a group lead or supervisor.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and technical team needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering unit; assign work; approve timesheets; conduct annual appraisals.
• Maintain unit quality; enforce standards; certify designs; provide technical leadership.
• Manage budgets and schedules; approve engineering documents; lead proposal preparation; develop client relationships.
• Provide timely performance feedback; promote staff development through licenses, certifications, training, mentoring, and client qualifications.
• Support policies and staffing plans based on projections.
