Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a leader to guide nuclear design efforts across the industry. Based in Naperville, IL, you will lead electrical engineering teams, drive project success, and foster strong client relationships.

You will oversee design approvals, mentor engineers, and ensure quality and timely delivery while supporting growth for both individuals and the company. Some positions may be remote within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of design engineering experience in power generation or nuclear power, with at least 2 years as a group lead or supervisor.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a design engineering unit; coordinate with Project Managers and internal teams.
• Approve designs, mentor engineers, and build client relationships.
• Ensure budget and schedule adherence for assigned projects; manage unit deliverables.
• Lead proposal preparation with input for scope and budget to PMs; develop client relationships.
• Support staff development and professional growth within the unit.
• Provide administrative support and staffing planning as needed.
