Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a principal electrical engineering leader to guide a nuclear design team across multiple sites, approving designs, mentoring engineers, and building strong client relationships while delivering on schedule and budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, 6+ years in design for power or nuclear, and travel up to 10%. Some positions may be remote; sites include Glendale (AZ), Naperville (IL), Fort Worth (TX), Plano (TX), and San Luis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of design engineering experience in power generation or nuclear power, with at least 2 years as a supervisor or lead.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead unit leadership and manage work allocation; approve timesheets and expenses; conduct annual appraisals; support recruitment.
• Maintain unit quality and enforce standards; certify design documents per codes; resolve technical issues with SME input.
• Work with Project Managers to meet budgets and schedules; approve engineering documents; lead proposal input for scope and budget; build client relationships.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching; promote staff development and licenses/certifications.
• Support company policies and staffing plans based on projections.
